These new inks have been developed to offer an alternative to iridescent inks but with the possibility of printing in offset and letterpress.
Printing these inks (preferably on coated media) will give a pearlescent appearance which will not be reproduced by either the photocopier or the scanner.
For printing on standard offset paper, we recommend using a varnish sealer first to prevent pearlescent ink from being absorbed by the support.
The thicker the ink deposit, the better the result.
These inks can be slightly tinted with dyes but the final effect will remain pastel.
