This new ink group can be printed in offset, letterpress, flexo, rotogravure and screen printing. It shows very interesting characteristics in the field of high security.
Once printed, the ink is completely invisible and will react in 3 possible colors when excited using an Infra Red laser which emits at 980 nanometers.
The reaction will be as follows: excitation wavelength 980 nm, re-emission in green at 545 nm or red at 660 nm or blue at 470 nm.
The strongest re-emission will be obtained in green, while red and blue are much weaker. PETREL can provide you with these 980nm lasers.
