Visible and fluorescent security fibers are fibers which have a color in daylight and are therefore visible in the paper and which have the same fluorescence color under Ultra-Violet.
These fibers are common in safety documents and offer a second level of protection, more sophisticated than visible, non-fluorescent fibers.
Examples of these fibers are:
- visible in blue and fluorescent blue daylight,
- visible in daylight green and fluorescent green,
- visible in daylight yellow and fluorescent yellow,
- visible in daylight orange and fluorescent orange,
- visible in daylight red and fluorescent red,
- visible in daylight purple and fluorescent purple.
